Description:

My latest design-

I've taken the 30 degree bevel top and increased it to 60 degree creating a deeper dome under the top.

The box is made of a very find 1/8" thick maple burl laminated onto plain maple with cocobolo and ebony trim.

The top consists of a black line spalted maple bookmatched centerpiece bordered by a frame of African blackwood.

Finished with numerous coats of acrylic lacquer and polished to a high sheen.

Interior bottom is lined with untreated leather.

Top is stayed open with a gold plated chain.
