Description:
This box is made from an exceptionally fine piece of shop sawn maple burl laminated over a cherry, on the top of which I have bookmatched the fine pattern to repeat on both sides. The ends are a high contrasting srriped Asian ebony.
The box is finished with about 8 coasts of urethane high gloss varnish.
Bottom liner is burgundy crushed velvet.
