This box is made of one of the most beautiful pieces of maple I've ever seen.

It appears almost translucent, like waves on crystal clear water.

All parts are from the same piece of wood.

Front design is inlaid ebony, while the top is trimmed with Honduras rosewood.

Front and side handles are rosewood and brass. Bottom is lined with ultrasuede.

The finish is eight coasts of hand-brushed urethane varnish for a gleaming high gloss finish - very durable.

My CD boxes generally hold from 24 to 28 CD's (or DVD's) in standard jewel cases, and nearly twice as many in the slim cases. Boxes are sized so that the jewel case stores label-side-up for easy identification. Additionally, the boxes will hold nearly 100 CD's in paper sleeves.
